Delete your account and data
Fun with Flags, published by Horus ML S.L. — last updated 11 August 2026
This page explains how to delete your Fun with Flags account and the data attached to it. Fun with Flags is published by Horus ML S.L. and is available on Google Play.
You only have an account if you signed in with Google or with an email address. If you play as a guest, no account exists and nothing about you is stored on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes everything it kept on your phone.
Deleting from inside the app
- Open Fun with Flags.
- Tap your profile chip at the top right of the main menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first, because Google requires a recent sign-in before an account can be deleted.
Deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone, and a new account started with the same email address begins from scratch.
Asking us to do it instead
If you no longer have the app installed, or you would rather we handled it, email fun_with_flags@horusml.com from the address on the account with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm and action it within 30 days.
Deleting some of your data without closing the account
If you want part of your data removed but want to keep playing, email fun_with_flags@horusml.com from the address on the account, saying what you want removed. The usual requests are your recorded rounds, which are the games replayed to other players as a "Ghost player", and your row in the global ranking. We will confirm and action it within 30 days. Your account, your rating and your progress stay as they are.
What is deleted, and what is kept
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account itself: email address and the name from your Google account | Deleted immediately |
| Your profile: display name, avatar, rating, games played and won | Deleted immediately |
| Your row in the global ranking | Deleted immediately |
| Your recorded rounds, replayed to other players as a "Ghost player" | Deleted immediately |
| Your answer history and per-flag record, which are stored only on your phone | Not on our servers. Removed by uninstalling the app |
| Anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens were opened and how rounds ended | Kept for up to 14 months. These were never linked to your account, your name or your email address, so they cannot be traced back to you and cannot be deleted individually |
| Finished duels you took part in | Kept, because a duel also belongs to the player you played against, who is entitled to their own record of it. Each one keeps the display name and avatar you were using at the time so that their history still reads properly. Your email address is not part of it, and there is no account left for it to point at |
Our hosting provider, Google Firebase, may hold deleted records in its own routine backups for a short period before they are overwritten. Nothing in those backups is reachable by the app or by us.
